Brentwood Half Marathon - March 2026

A big well done to everyone who raced the Brentwood Half Marathon on Sunday, it was great to see so many good runs and battles on Strava! Lots of PBs and good finishes from Thurrock too.

Strong running from in form Rob Doyle who was lead Harrier in 37th, that's a great PB in the bag. 

Kirsty Osborn had a storming run to a 3 minute plus PB! She was 4th women overall and 2nd in the senior age group, great achievement.

Next was the consistent Hayley Nye who also had a 2 second PB with a well paced run, she was 1st in the v35 category.

Hayley and Kirsty should be looking forward to London after that. 1 place behind Hayley was the solid Scott Rice, running well under tough circumstances for 4th v55. 

Then it was a case of more London Marathon prep for Simon Hatcher (PB run) and the silver medallists Bernie Johnson and Gloria Bullen who both came second in their v70 age groups.
