Thurrock Harriers ladies grab bronze medals at the Essex County road relays.
126 teams from across Essex travelled to wind-swept Harwich to contest this year’s County Road Relays.
With gusts of up to 50mph Thurrock Harriers ladies Toni Radley, Victoria Peacock and Jodie Farrell battled through the brutal headwinds to grab third place in their age group and win well deserved Essex bronze team medals.
The men’s M40 teams were placed 7th and 14th and the M50 teams 10th and 15th.
The fastest Harrier on the day was the ever consistent Scott Rice completing the tough 5k course in 18:15.
