We're pleased to share the incredible success of the Dave Staines Horndon 10K, which took place on Sunday 25th June as part of the highly anticipated annual Feast and Fayre event. This race has become a beloved tradition among local running clubs, and once again, the local running community turned out in force, declaring it one of their favorite road race of the year!A congratulations is in order for everyone involved in making this event a resounding triumph. The unwavering commitment of our dedicated organisers and the enthusiastic participation of the runners truly made this event a memorable experience. We extend a special appreciation to our exceptional marshals who braved the scorching heat on the sweltering Sunday. With temperatures soaring close to 30°C, their support and dedication were absolutely invaluable.Not only did the Dave Staines Horndon 10K showcase the spirit of our club, but it also served as a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for Thurrock Harriers and further elevate our profile within the local community. Well done to the 6 Thurrock Harrier athletes who took on the challenging conditions.
