Essex Championships X/C race at Writtle Saturday 30th Nov 19. Age Groups U13's and U15's.
Under 13 Boys race, the team, all first timers at this event with a very fast start, Harry Wyatt managed coming in 10th, a courageous run considering he suffered an injury the week before the race. Alfie Squibb with a gutsy run as usual, a respectable 23rd. Teddy Squibb with an equally good effort 43rd The youngest of the team Oscar Potter 47th and Lucas Willett 51st both commendable results for taking on County Champs competition both at early ages.
Under 13 Girls race. Commendable runs, and again very fast start Cheyenne Dagher fought well to finish 24th, and Sophie Matthews a track/field athlete applying her endurance capabilities to cross country events coming in 32nd.
Under 15 Girls race. The 'Lone Ranger' Jayne Elvin, our only one for this race. Undeterred by this, got a brilliant start, leading the field. Giving everything she had, with determination for a medal in third place.
